learning_with_ai_v4_49_4.pdf is the current working draft of Learning with AI: A Framework for Students, Instructors, and Universities (249 pages).

The filename carries the draft version, so it changes with each refresh. If a link to an older filename fails, the current PDF is listed in the main README, which also records what changed in each version.

Please read this before relying on the PDF

This is the author’s pre-edit draft, posted here with SIAM’s permission while the book is under review.

It will be withdrawn once SIAM begins copy-editing. At that point the edited text becomes SIAM’s, and this repository will link to the SIAM publisher page instead of hosting a PDF. If you are reading this and the PDF is gone, that is why, and the link you want is on the main README.

Two consequences worth knowing:

• Cite the book, not this file. Page numbers in this draft will not survive editing. Use CITATION.cff in the repository root, or the BibTeX entry in the main README.
• The companion materials are different. Everything else in this repository is MIT-licensed and stays. Only the book PDF is subject to SIAM copyright and to this condition.

Found an error?

Corrections to the book are collected rather than edited directly, and confirmed ones are carried into the next edition. See FEEDBACK.md and ERRATA.md.
